博士生导师,国家高层次科技领军人才,哈佛大学访问学者。先后在四川师范大学、华南师范大学、中国科学院动物研究所学习和工作。主要从事外来物种入侵与生物多样性保护研究,相关成果在Nature Ecology & Evolution, Nature Communications, PNAS, Trends in Ecology & Evolution, Current Biology等期刊发表学术论文70余篇,部分成果得到Nature, Nature Ecology & Evolution,和F1000等重点推介,撰写相关入侵防控和跨境保护咨询建议获国家级或省市自治区领导批示。现任中国动物学会副秘书长、中国动物学会生物地理学分会秘书长、中国动物学会两栖爬行动物学分会常务委员、中国生态学会生物入侵生态专委会委员、国际动物学会青委会主任委员和生物入侵专委会副主任委员。任Journal of Animal Ecology, Cell Reports Sustainability, Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment, Biological Invasions, Integrative Zoology,《生物多样性》等国内外学术期刊副主编或编委。获第五届中国动物学会长隆奖新星奖、中国动物学会第七届青年科技奖、全国优秀青年动物生态学工作者等荣誉称号。
